Moving Gradebook Items

OVERVIEW

Moving grade book items in an LMS used for internal staff training refers to the process of rearranging or reorganizing the assessment components within the grade book. This feature allows instructors, trainers, or administrators to change the order of assignments, quizzes, or other graded activities in the grade book interface. By moving grade book items, users can customize the layout and structure of the assessment data to better reflect the learning objectives and the sequence of the training program. This functionality provides flexibility in managing the grading process and enables a more organized and intuitive presentation of the assessment data for both instructors and learners.

MOVE GRADEBOOK ITEMS

You can move any gradebook item to where you would like it by clicking on the move icon next to the item you want to move.   



For example, moving "Manual grade item" into "Gradebook category":

After clicking on the move icon next to "Manual grade item", that item become "mobile" and you can click on any of the boxes to move it into that box. 



Once complete, your activity will be moved. 



Changing the order of gradebook items will not change the order of the activities in your course.
