OVERVIEW

A course is an area of your LMS where you can add resources and activities for learners to complete. Site admin, course creator (site wide) and course instructor (course level) roles can perform various tasks relating to the management and organization of course content and data. The most important course management actions when getting started with your Pluto LMS are described here and the included links will provide more information on the specific task.

CREATING CATEGORIES AND COURSES

Create categories:
You can create course categories to organize courses and make it easier for users to navigate the LMS.

Create courses:
Before you can start creating or uploading course content, you need to create the "shell" for your courses. To do this, you can create a single course or upload a text (.csv) file to bulk create courses

ADDING COURSE CONTENT

Create content:
You can create engaging learning experiences by adding a variety of resources and activities to your courses

Import content:
You can import content from one existing course into another on your Pluto LMS. 

DUPLICATING COURSES

You can quickly duplicate an entire course with the "Copy course" function.

COURSE ENROLLMENTS

There are various methods of enrolling users into your courses. The most popular methods are described here:

If you are only enrolling a few users into a course, you can manually enroll them. 

If you need to enroll a large number of users into a course, you can upload a text (.csv) file to bulk enroll users to courses. 

You can automate course enrollment by synchronizing course enrollment with branch membership via the branch sync enrollment method.
